  • So, i bought my ticket home.  I'll be returning to the states on October 25th.  
    1 1/2 week in chicago.
    1 week in Peoria, IL.
    Move to Baraboo, WI.

    thats the tentative plan for now.

    not looking forward to the reverse culture shock. and its gunna be extremely difficult to say goodbye here.

    Week highlight:  I went to a Slovene horse race! they don't sit on top of the horse though, they ride behind them on a chariot thing...  and the horses aren't allod to gallup, only trot real fast.  Anja and I had a great time.

  • today i said goodbye to my washing machine and my microwave.  next to go will be my fridge and my oven.  my life is an adventure right now.

    PS i finish in slovenia on October 25th.  i haven't bought the tix yet....  then home to see my fam and my boy.  prob I'll move to wisconson right away and work at Expeditions Unlimited (the Wilderness Camp my boy works at).

    thanks for the prayers!  i need them right now!  especially about the relationship bit.  we just found out that steve can't come this fall, like we had planned.  that puts us into 6 + months without seeing eachother.  needless to say, we are both tired of the distance.
